Our story

ASSIST DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS LIMITED is a Social Enterprise supporting the initiatives of private sector companies, non-profit organizations (NGOs), development institutions and community-based organisations (CBOs) to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, of the UN Agenda 2030.

ASSIST was established and registered in April 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya. The company is led by a team of successful management professionals with over 30 years of extensive practical and managerial experience in projects related to "Economic Cooperation and Development", "National Quality Infrastructure" (NQI) and "Technical Vocational Education & Training" (TVET) in Europe, Asia and Africa.

The office in Nairobi serves as the basis to coordinate all projects for ASSIST which are being executed within Africa.

Small changes with a big difference

Over the last 6 years, ASSIST has been primarily involved in providing capacity building and technical assistance at enterprise, professional and community levels across a variety of subject matter and markets.

In addition to its own projects, ASSIST has successfully implemented over 20+ projects in collaboration with bilateral and multilateral donors and organizations such as UN Habitat, DEG (KfW), KfW, GIZ, MESPT, RTI International, AECF, TMA, NIRAS, Particip, GFA Group, Integration, Ensinger GmbH / Ensinger Foundation and others across 5 countries. ASSIST is very familiar with the processes and expectations of donor-funded projects.
